We suggest you make arrangements two or more months before the wedding date. Some prefer to book their wedding six months or more ahead of time. You definitely want to allow plenty of time for all of the men (and boys) in your wedding party to come in at their convenience.

How far in advance should I have my tuxedo fitting?

→ A:
We prefer to have you come in at least three weeks prior to the use date. As formal wear specialists, we are able to accommodate your order in a week's time or less, if the need should arise. However, allowing the preferred time for your order will reduce stress and increase the enjoyment of your special occasion. Remember that sizes can be sent on line.

→ Q:
Do I need to make an appointment for my tuxedo fitting?

→ A:
Appointments are not necessary. We encourage you to come in at a time that is most convenient for your schedule. You may want to avoid Friday afternoons as that is the pick up time for tuxedos going out that week.

→ Q:
How long will it take for my tuxedo fitting?

→ A:
It will only take 15 to 20 minutes to be properly fitted (sized) for a tuxedo. In order to give the proper attention to our fittings, we do suggest that whole wedding parties not come in at one time. One or two at a time is best.

→ Q:
What about the "hard to fit man"?

→ A:
As specialists, Mr. Tuxedo is able to fit even the "hard to fit man." Our in-stock sizes range from boy's size 3, to men's size 60 and above, in selected styles. Extra longs are available in most styles.

→ Q:
When will I pick up my tuxedo?

→ A:
Your rental tuxedo will be ready the day before the wedding or event. Tuxedos may be picked up after 3pm on Thursday for Friday rentals; and after 11am on Friday for Saturday and Sunday rentals.

→ Q:
Do I have to try it on in the store when I pick it up?

→ A:
It is best to allow 15 to 20 minutes pick up time so that you can at least try on the coat, pants and shoes. This way we are assured that every tuxedo leaving our store fits properly. If there are any adjustments necessary they can usually be taken care of immediately. If you are not able to pick up your own tuxedo, we ask that you please try it on as soon as possible at home. If you have a concern about the fit, please contact us immediately by phone so that we may remedy the situation before your event.

When do I pay for the tuxedo rental?

→ A:
Tuxedo rentals must be paid in full at the time of pickup. Mr. Tuxedo accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, ATM Cards and checks with proper ID. And of course, we also take cash.
